Leap model difference
Hi, what's the difference between the BlackBerry Leap's model code PRD-60775-030 and PRD-60775-034? I don't know what model I have to buy. Maybe the difference is in the mobile frequencies... I live in Italy, can someone help me? Thanks!

STR100-1 is the model that would be better for use in Europe. Is PRD the only way for you to ID the phone?

Yes PRD code is the only info that I have :(

OK, I did a web search and came up with these two websites that I can't really read:
PRD -30: BlackBerry Leap (16GB, Black - fekete ) #PRD-60775-030 - EXPANSYS Magyarorszg
PRD -34: BlackBerry Leap 4G HSPA+, FD-LTE 16GB 12,70cm 5" PRD-60775-034, Telefone und Handys
Now both of them look to be STR100-1s based on the bands I see listed. So if you can, check if you see the following bands listed in your seller's description:
GSM 850/900/1800/1900
UMTS 850/900/1900/2100 (or 5/8/2/1)
LTE 800/900/1800/2100/2600 (or 20/8/3/1/7)
This should confirm that the phones you're looking at are STR100-1.

Thanks for the URLs. It seems that the frequencies are the same. So, what's the really difference between this two codes? The devices's specs looks the same. I'm confused :)

PRD numbers identify which phones went to which sellers--carriers, big SIM free shops, etc. So the same model number can have multiple PRD numbers.

Thanks a lot raino for the support! All clear now ;)

PRD Code
PRD Code will also dictate how a phone operates after a software update. E.G. if you flash an EU device with UK software if you don't (and not many people have the ability to) change the PRD code of the device the unit will revert back to its original language and flash file after a software update.

PRD 34 has QWERTZ Keypad not QWERTY (German)
