OK guys, after having some issues with my trusty Leap (due to Android apps), I decided to wipe and start over. 98% wipe took 4 days. On the 5th day 99% and then I forget to switch the charger on. Oops! Time to start again!

2 days and I've got to 98%, anyone managed the full wipe and how long did it take?

    Rich

BlackBerry Q10, Leap, Passport and Playbook (all in use!).

If it takes any more than a few hours, it means the feature is broken.

Interrupt the wiping process a few times (e.g. by powering off device), until the phone boots to an error screen. At that point you can connect it to your PC, and use BlackBerry Link to factory reset it.

Almost there..... 5 days and 99%

Interestingly, the phone's performance was awful in the immediate run up. Laggy, unresponsive not what I woukd expect from BB10.

As I have both a Q10 and a PP, I'm going to let it run for now.

You can leave it as long as you like, it won't finish. It's stuck.

Same problem happened to me a month back...it took almost 2days for security wipe..and it stayed at 98% for hours... but I did something to resolve this issue... just download BlackBerry link to your PC or lappy.. connect your leap to computer, then BlackBerry link will detects phone..after that...we have to select update OS, then phone starts updating OS. It will take around an hour..depends on your net speed...but it will surely works...I did it.. don't wipe your BlackBerry unless u sell it to someone..instead you just update it using BlackBerry link
