    UPDATED 5/29/2019

You need to manually add the account.

First, remove the existing contacts account (if it's still there), then go to your Google account and ensure 2FA is disabled and also make sure the so called "allow less secure apps" is enabled.

If you wish to leave 2FA enabled, you can also create an app password and use the created password for step # 6.

    Now follow these instructions carefully:

    1. Go to Accounts.

    2. Select Add Account.

    3. Select Advanced at the bottom of the screen.

    4. Tap CardDav.

    5. Enter whatever you like for a description,
    your Gmail address for username,
and Gmail address for the email address.

6.Enter your Gmail password for the password.

    7. For the Server Address, enter the following:

    https://www.googleapis.com/carddav/v...lists/default/

Be sure to edit the server address so the prefix "myname" is replaced with your own prefix.

You might also need to sign out of Google from the browser to make this work.

Let us know how this goes.

I just deleted and re-added my account to prove this still works, so there might be a minor detail that you've missed.

To start, are you sure "less secure apps" is enabled on your Google account?

    Is two-step verification turned off?

Go here, scroll down and look for the words "Less Secure App Access". That needs to be turned ON.

Go to settings> accounts> press the add account button at the bottom> enter your Gmail.

It should redirect you to a Google sign in page. Sign in and it should work.

I also have a leap (if your couldn't tell by my username) and I've had the same problem in the past and that's how I figured it out.

Please reply back to me with a quote to let me know if it worked or not.

    Good luck!

Is your contacts account syncing for sure? The key thing to get your contacts to sync is the new server address. If the old one is working for you, then you're obviously an exception.

May be a simple solution but sometimes simple works. Are you have a functional Internet connection and/or did you try to restart your device?

Don't get mad at me for this, but there is a possibility that you may need to use an autoloader or BlackBerry Link to reload your device software again.

    Or try this link first:
    http://support.blackberry.com/kb/art...mber=000012288

The link able is from BlackBerry's knowledge base. If this does not work, then you'll have no choice but to reload the device software again.

    Good luck!

    Good.
Are you signed in to Google on your browser on the phone? If you are, try signing out.

Also, make sure you are entering all the information correctly:

    Description - whatever you want.
    Username -your Gmail address.
Email address - your Gmail address.
    Password - your Gmail password.
    Server address - https://www.googleapis.com/.well-known/carddav

Make sure you cut and paste the server address so there are no mistakes.

What is the error message that you're getting?

Do you have any other Google services signed in on the device? If you do, it might be a good idea to sign out of every Google service and try again.

Just make sure you have a good Internet connection and keep trying I guess...make doubly sure you are putting all the correct information in the right fields.

Actually my Google account is already sign in other device. And I wanted to sign in the same account in my leap also but cannot sign in. Before deleting my device it was okay. After deleting my device I cannot sign in.
    So now what to do.

You are able to sign in with your email and calendar, is that correct? It's only the contacts account that's giving you trouble? Just making sure we're on the same page.
