So I watched a review by BerryFlow on YouTube about the Leap after buying a Classic. I can afford one, is it better, same, or worse than the classic? If it lags and freezes, I don't want it.

Same processor specs and identical OS.

It is a question of form factor.

No hardware problems specific to the Leap as far as I know. I've played with one and it's nice.

You lose NFC, HDMI-out, and USB-OTG, but the LCD screen is nice and bright and it feels good in the hand.

Hmmmm. I like NFC but never use it anyway with no Google wallet.

They're pretty much the same internally minus some connectivity features. It's all about whether you want a big screen or a keyboard.

    Me, I'd take the Leap.

I would say no. I've used both the Leap and Classic. To me the Classic has a better camera. While the MP count is the same and the Aperature is the same, it just looks a tad better. Maybe it's because there are more DOF?

The differences are small and the Leap still takes nice photos. Nothing compared to a iPhone 6s or anything but still nice to look at

    Once again, just my opinion

I want to buy the Leap but my Classic is super slow (especially when adding attachments to a message). That's my main worry, but others have told me the Classic's physical keyboard is what makes it slow. The second biggest complain is that even with the outdated specs, it's still expensive. Phones like the Moto E 2nd Gen and Lumia 640 are cheaper. I also have the Z30 already but hate the display and the build of it. That's what attracts me to it.

I feel like the build quality on the classic is much better and that it feels far more premium than the leap, which feels like a very thick, plastic device with as much bezel as screen.

Attachments are slow because you have a slow memory card.

Went from the Classic to the Leap. I really enjoy the larger display. Depends on if you use your phone for any entertainment or not in my opinion. Classic was nice but also felt pretty heavy in my opinion.

Interesting comparison. I too take a lot of photos, amd using the Classic, I was also wondering if the Leap was worth it for better photos. Looks like I'll best be keeping my Classic for now!

I have the Leap, Classic and Passport and can't really say which is best. Obviously the Passport has the best specs, power and display but it's also the most expensive and bulkiest. The Classic has the most user friendly form-factor but it is a bit slow and the display leaves me wanting from time to time. The Leap has a very nice display and due to its form-factor is the best candidate for Android app adaptation. The affordable price also makes the Leap a hidden gem. But its shape is a bit incognito and unremarkable in the sea of slab devices. It is also lacking a few features (NFC, case magnet functionality for example) but at the price point I guess it's not shocking.

I like them all. I think they all look fantastic and feel great. My daily driver is still the Classic for the time being and my wife's using the Leap...I think she may keep it as she seems to really like it.

The Passport is doing home duty, watching vids, playing games, browsing the net...etc. A bit like a smaller tablet or laptop.

Apple Aya, out of all three devices you have, which one do you think has the best camera?

I have the Leap and like it a lot. I really am impressed with the form factor of the rubber back. Very professional looking finish, best for using portable mouse and keyboard I've ever used. Good pictures but I use a Nokia 1020 with 41mp for that and transfer to the Leap. Video also with Nokia's great stabilization. So far no complaints but will get a Passport to replace a tablet. Keeping both.

Hmmm...I'll have to try the Leap some more but as it stands right now probably the Passport. Although I think the Classic is very underrated.

I second everything you say here. I am pushed towards the Leap too for value for money. Its a lot of phone for the cash.
