New to BlackBerry, received for work but since starting to use it the touch screen seems to be hyperactive - often adds letters, will react without touch both inside and outside, constantly deletes text without input. Have run BBVE and no errors have come up. Would appreciate the help - I cannot wipe phone as it is a security portion of my employment.

Take it back to work and ask them to fix it or give you a new one.

Sounds like you're pushing screen too hard. That or maybe they gave you a BlackBerry Storm.
