Is it me or does anyone else thing that the BlackBerry Leap resembles the Sony Xperia?

but they don't all have the same specs, do they? which is why the Leap is a flop into the darkness for me. Need a powerful Z30 successor....not a Leap

S6 and iphone 6. Iphone 5s and z10. They all look the same. That's the main reason why I got a passport. Stand out

Yes, I can't wait to see some official specs for the slider. I miss the keyboard, but I also love the Z30. If they release something with the Passport's touch sensitive keyboard, it would be device paradise.

Looking to leave Verizon Wireless. Want to go to a prepaid service with an unlocked blackberry leap, what is a good service?

I love the Q's keyboard, however mine is beginning to really annoy with the double typing issue. I'm thinking of returning to the slab just to be rid of the possibility.

I went from a Nexus 5 to a Leap and the device does not seem any slower. Not feeling like an underpowered device

Anyone with a Q10/Z10/Classic knows the "speed" of the device and the rest of the components. One simple look at the selling price allows all of them to deliver a judgement. No need to touch it .

I've had all three that you mention and the Leap is on a par with any of them, maybe even a hair more fluid. The only lag I've experienced so far is with some Snap-installef Android apps.

Of course, as they share the same outdated SoC.

    Seriously all that bashing...
    I don't get it...

There are a lot of people with a 2y old Z10 who want something new but don't want to spend 600
For people like my dad this Leap is a blessing.
Bigger screen for his eyes, amazing battery life, descent camera etc.
Yeah it doesnt have nfc and hdmi but hey, he didn't even use it once in those 2 year.

And to finish my conclusion : Even the reviews on belgium websites are good... Good build quality, battery, screen,...
It's been long since they have been "positive"

My Q5 is the slowest BlackBerry10 device out and it runs the OS and apps just as good as my Z10. Hell, it even keeps up with my fathers Passport.

But by all means. I'll be enjoying a nice snappy OS while you folks are still here scoffing at spec numbers.

We are all BB hardcore fans here, I would suggest before you start hammering on a product, buy one, try it out and see if you like it. Sometimes I think folks read too many spec sheets and to many reviews by folks with too much time on their hands to begin with. Its not all about chipsets and ram, its about being value added, if you feel the device has the value you expected for the money you spent, then great, case closed!!!

No need to dream. I can hold both in my hands at home and tell you exactly how it is as I see it.

Specs do not matter as much with BB10 and that's just the facts. Rather than get hostile, join me in enjoying BlackBerry.

When will we Canadians be able to buy the already released BlackBerry Leap from Blackberry's website or Shop BlackBerry Canada ?

It STILL says "coming soon" on those sites...

I called them the other day, and they said "they're working on it".

How hard can it be to have your website reflect that you do in fact have the leap available to sell?

    Good lord.

I think it's safe to assume it's not just a case of setting the item to In Stock.
