When I put the screen protector (which have only speaker hole and camera hole) on my Blackberry Leap, the proximity sensor does not work.
However, when I tear off the screen protector, It works well.
What has the problem? Protector film? or My Blackberry Leap?

Is it normal? Or do I have to return my Blackberry Leap?

Depends.. where do you want to place the blame? lol. If it works without it.. logic says it's the screen protector causing the problem.

Clearly the screen protector. It should have sufficient holes and in the correct places.

To compare, the screen protector on my Z10 has a hole cut for the proximity detector. It's branded as "Tech Armour".
