    Honestly I would like a new device and would prefer the lcd screen over the amoled. I'm not sure about the slider since nothing is confirmed but we shall see...

    It's expected to be available from April.

    Appearance-wise Leap is very much similar to Z3. Indeed, it is step-up from Z3 and at the same time its several specifications gets a lot closer to Z30. Also the already settled price for Z30 comes closer to upcoming Leap’s expected price.

    But compared to Leap, Z30 is a premium device with Super AMOLED screen, faster processor, stereo speakers, better wi-fi capabilities, GLONASS (for GPS), USB Host functionality and HDMI port. If I had to buy a new device in that price range, I would prefer Z30.

    Certainly. Passport is currently a top-end BB 10 device, Leap is 2nd from bottom. So, there is no question of going from Passport to Leap.

    For some, when the slider device arrives, maybe that can be worthy upgrade/switch against Passport, but still Passport is a special device to be with.

    Why in the world would you need to side load WhatsApp when there's a native one already unless you want her to link 2 WhatsApp accounts to 2 different phones number and use both simultaneously?
