I do love my Leap, and sometimes I use more than my Passport. For me it has a very long lasting battery.

Leap SE running the promised BB10.3.4; full HD IPS screen; aluminium frame but retains the soft rubberised back; snapdragon 630 (bluetooth v5.0 capable); 13MP, 8MP rear and front cameras respectively; NFC; dual band Wifi; and 3505mA battery. That would be awesome!!

The "promise" was not 10.3.4 - it was support to the end of 2016 which was thought to involve 10.3.3 in March, and 10.3.4 in December.

You should probably inform Chen of this since he actually stated himself 10.3.4 would be coming.

Yes. But the statement was 10.3.3 in March and 10.3.4 in December.

So is the promise "Dec" or "10.3.4"? Since it can't be both, I vote the former. The fact that there has been absolutely no sign of any early 10.3.4 builds over these last 5 months seems to confirm that.

The promise was March for 10.3.3 and 10.3.4 available for download by year end. Chen himself in a BlackBerry Blog post. But of course, you found a way to excuse it as usual.

What are we arguing? I'm not blaming or absolving anyone of anything.

When the end of the year came and went, coinciding finally by the rollout of 10.3.3, a non-sequitur was imposed regarding 10.3.4.

    Combative much...

You're both saying the same thing, just arguing about semantics. 10.3.3 and 10.3.4 were given promised dates in 2016, 10.3.3 slipped so far into the future (January 2017) that 10.3.4 was conveniently forgotten about. There are zero signs of 10.3.4, or any development in the OS whatsoever.

When did I dispute any of this? I was responding to cognite who stated the promise was not 10.3.4. All I said was that it was which it clearly was and he conveniently interpreted otherwise. And what part of what I said was combative? Just stating that he excuses their actions a lot? That's just a fact.

That was exactly the promise, this is BlackBerry however were promises seem to be wishes rather than commitments.

Never even saw any sign of 10.3.3 on my Leap or Passport.
Although by many accounts, that's just as well.
