The only thing I've heard other than miscellaneous bugfixes and the new security patch level is an update for BlackBerry Launcher that provides some built-in icon packs mimicking the style of BB10 and BBOS.

I have to say while I can't nail exact stuff I feel a general better fluidity when performing certain actions

I "think" the bluetooth to cars for phone calls is fix or at least better than it was before.

I also say "for phone calls" because one of the vehicles I was driving allowed me to just connect bluetooth audio and when I did that I had zero bluetooth issues.

For those of you who got the update, what region and carrier do you have?

I'm in California on T-Mobile (GSM Unlocked KEYone) and I only got the July update last week.

You just made me realize that I only just got the July update, as well. I'm on T-Mobile in San Diego, and just assumed that the update that came through was for August. That seems really weird that they would push July.

Hey @hoopitz do you know anyone wanting a KEYone? I have an extra as backup in case my screen lifted but it looks like i have a good solid one, so i was looking to sell the extra one to someone locally. Brand new unopened box.

Unfortunately, I install the word, excel and PowerPoint all of them not working in August patch.

You're doing something wrong then. Office apps have worked on every build I've tried, up to and including AAN355 (which I'm on now).

I'm also on AAN355 and all the MS apps are working for me as well.

I was trying to get my wife to get one, but she's stuck on the Samsung wagon. If I can get her to change her mind, I'll let you know! Is it too late for you to just return it?

I came from a Samsung Galaxy S5 for about 6 months before switching over... Both have their pros and cons, if u like i can do a compare and contrast for her to see if she'll consider it. I used to sell cellphones before becoming a banker . It all comes down to asking her what she likes about her Samsung and showing her that it can be done on the KEYone plus the added benefits of all the BlackBerry extras

Thanks, I will try uninstall / reinstall again... Good to know that is not a general issue but some other people are suffering the same thing

Nice to see it that factory reset seems to solve many problems at the same time. It takes time but it is the best thing we can do to improve the performance of the phone

Apparently they fixed the bug of the sym tray not going away after selecting one, but added a new bug of a page dot appearing on your homescreen even if you have no pages or icons...

I'm still on July patch. I have sent around a dozen emails to BlackBerry Mobile but no answer so far. Their technical support is objectively poor.
