No, there isn't! I have been asking for the same...I sent feedback in that regard to Google as well as suggested option to enlarge the text size.

If you can do the same that might help to push the matter through.

One of the first things I discovered was that the stock messages app is horrible. I installed Textra which has an enormous amount of features, including the ability to use the enter key to send a message.

My favorite feature, though, is that it lets you swipe to close the window. So, from the hub, I can quickly respond to a text, and then swipe it closed (or even set it to auto close), which is awesome. Adds a little bit of much needed bb10 flare.

Indeed, Textra works great but I found it to be a little laggy.

Textra or Yaata. The stock text app is lacking.

Yaata has this feature and it works in the hub when the full TXT stream is open. It doesn't work in the quick reply window.
