Called AT&T to request Wi Fi calling on the AT&T branded KeyONE. After going through the usual--"this phone isn't capable of Wi Fi Calling,"--with advanced technical support, the CSR spoke to his supervisor, who reported that "the software isn't developed" for Wi Fi calling on AT&T.

I requested the identify of the appropriate group with whom to file a ticket requesting Wi Fi Calling. Was told that there was no way to do that, and they suggested I call Blackberry.

So, whether the phone is AT&T branded or not, the run around is still the same.

It will supposedly come in an update.. And talking to support unfortunately is ineffective as I don't believe they have all the info

Any further news about this topic? Been very quiet lately. I wonder how many AT&T KeyOne’s have been sold?

    regarding HD calling...

look like you need specific provision at sim level and limited. (possibly still in deployment stage... my guess... so wait until the network is ready).

I finally got connected to Advanced LTE Services (including HD Voice) on my AT&T KEYone. I ended up activating the SIM card that came with the new phone and that did the trick. It didn't work with my old SIM card in either one of my KEYone's (AT&T or Unlocked Silver Edition BBB100-1). As to WiFi calling, not yet. Maybe the OCT update or a future one hopefully.

You got connected to advanced lte services on which keyone? Unlocked bbb100-1 or at&t bbb100-1?

hrm but how do u know volte is working? do u see a volte icon ever? or have u noticed ur phone staying on LTE during a call? on tmobile it should say IMS connected in the cellular network menu

I have never seen a Volte icon but when I make a phone call it stays on 4G lte and most of my phone calls appear to be a lot clearer. Also according to AT&T September update page which is attached, it states "Call performance improvements" as part of the update. No, that doesn't mean HD Voice but as I stated before, most of my phone calls appear to be a lot clearer.

its actually pretty simple... LTE cant do voice unless its volte. if u make a call and ur signal changes to just regular 4G (the little lte goes away) then you dont have volte working.

if it stays the same as that screenshot when ur on a call... u must have volte working. u see the little lte in the icon right? see if it goes away on a call.

It's a bummer that there is still no progress on the WiFi calling, I could really use that nearly every day at work.

I wonder what is causing the delay? This should be easy.
