I noticed today that whenever someone leaves me a voicemail message, I can't see the usual old tape deck recorder symbol anywhere in the HUB or phone app. I get the missed call notification in the HUB but that's it, nothing to signify that a voice mail message was left. What I do get though is a notification banner on the locked screen (new voicemail) but nothing on the home screen. Bug or no bug?

Exactly Im with Rogers Wireless and whenever I get VM message left, I do get the "tape" icon. It dissappears after I call into the vm system and clear messages.

I believe it all depends on the carrier, but I don't even get the tape symbol on the carrier's app on the home screen, I actually need to tap the icon to see whether a VM was left. Too bad we have to rely on the carrier's own app for that.
