My keyone home button (round one) stopped going to the home screen after an Android update . Does anyone have any solutions?

I've tried rebooting, looking for additional Android updates, rebooting to safe mode (now my app icons are gone). No results with anything I've tried.

    Welcome to Creackberry.

Yes, Safe Mode will remove icon apps and widgets for some stupid reason after you end Safe Mode.

What happens or does not happen if you tap the Home (round) button?

What happens if you tap the App Drawer (round button with 6 dots)?

Have you tried the 32+ second reboot? Press and HOLD the Power Button for 32+ seconds, ignoring the screen and any sounds or vibrations.

Also, try clearing the cache. Main Settings, Storage, Internal, wait for numbers to settle and then press Cache.

You might have to resort to reloading the OS. Or factory reset (main settings, security, scroll to find).

    Good luck

My home button only goes to the middle screen, not all the way to the left.
when I hold the home button, it opens Google Assistant.

When I tap on the App drawer, the App drawer opens.

I've tried the 32+ second Reboot without any change to the home button.
At this time, it looks like a system reset is the only thing left.

How do I reset the system without losing data? I have contact and calendar data in Informant that would cause a lot of problems if I lose it. How do I back that up to restore later?

You set which screen to go to in the launcher settings.

Hold down a blank space on any homescreen and highlight the picture of the house at the top of the preferred screen.

As soon as I read what was happening, I realized that you somehow reset the HOME home screen to your middle position.
