Blackberry can't shirk responsibility, as I paid and bought a Key One. It must have taken a committee of village idiots with the devil for a chairman to design the SIM card insertion cradle. The SIM from my Q10 won't fit in this POS phone. How is this to be done?

    are you kidding?

get your Sim card cut or a new one, every phone nowadays uses nano Sim cards.

doesn't take a genius to figure that it with a quick google search

Lol I and it takes a jerk to pimp for Blackberry's crap. Keep at it - you'll sell a lot of these POS phones, for sure.

Damn, I think the KeyOne is a pile of trash, but even I don't blame TCL for using a nano.

The other poster is right, that's pretty standard.

Either go to your carrier, or get a sum cutter online, they're only a couple bucks.

OP you're going to be very limited if you keep to phones with micro-sim card size so you can move your sim without cutting/transferring to nano. Standards have moved on like they always do.

So any phone you'd find today would be a POS, because they all use Nano-SIM slots now. And none of them use Micro-SIMs anymore.

    Yeah, that makes sense.

Guess what... if you were coming from a Classic or Passport, you wouldn't say that. Those use a Nano-SIM too.

Your carrier should be able to set you up with a nano Sim card. I made the switch in 2015 when I moved to the PRIV from an older device. T-mobile set me up with the new card. All the best. ☺

They now make them as a larger cards with a perforation so you can pop the nano card out. That way if someone has an older device they can use it and then switch it to the smaller one when changing to a device that uses the nano sim.

When my son adopted a smartphone that used the nano, I was able to take his old sim to our carrier (at&t) and was able to have a new sim cut--free of charge. I was even asked what phone number we wished to have, although we kept his original one. No need to use an adapter either (and I recommend that you do NOT use one, to not risk damage to the pins). Just line the contacts up just right. There are pics posted on CrackBerry. If you need a link, hit me up!
