Hi gang, I can use some help as I am about 3 weeks in with the KeyOne and I am having an issue that is driving me nuts. I am trying to change the sound that I hear when I get a new e-mail.

I go to Settings, Sound, Default Notification Ringtone, and I choose a preferred sound. (I assume I am doing this right).

Note that, because of corporate requirements, I am not using the HUB App and I am using the BlackBerry Work App. I can't find any settings to change there in the App.

When I do get an e-mail now, the sound is completely different than the one I chose, and I can't find what I am doing wrong?

Your advice would be appreciated. Thank you,

For email, I use the Hub where you can change the sounds. BUT also the sounds you choose must be located in Internal Memory (not sd-card) in the Ringtones, Alarms or Notifications folders.

The app has to support different ringtones. If the app doesn't support it, it will just use the generic tone you choose (unless it has its own).

You might not be able to change it.

Is the sound you selected in the internal memory or on the SD?

I've found Android doesn't like using sd.

I copied my sounds to the internal memory and that solved this issue for me.
