I own (and use) a Verizon Keyone, I would like to switch to AT&T (better coverage where I work). Will the phone work if I pop in a AT&T sim ?

No, I don't believe there is a GSM Radio in it. Many prior Verizon offerings from other Makers (i.e. Motorola) had dual capabilities (we have a Droid Mini which is locked to Verizon but unlocked to all GSM carriers out of the box)...
I did use my "Verizon" KeyOne with a Tmobile sim card when I first got it. I continued to my my Priv with the verizon sim using tmobile as I adjusted to the new keyboard and device. Now I can't recall if I had full service and I have no idea how it would work with AT&T.
And contrary to what some say, it does contain a GSM radio, since I used it in Europe while it still had the Verizon sim in it. But it was gsm while in Norway.
There is most definitely a gsm radio in it. The problem is u may be missing a few bands at&t uses for lte, though not all; if I remember correctly.
Probably not very well. I would sell the Verizon compatible KEYone and buy the carrier locked AT&T version.
