Tried to get a nano SIM from the Metro PCS store, they immediately turned me away saying my "phone cannot work on Metro's service network". They didn't even go into details as to why not.....HELLLLLLPPPPP

It'll work, provided you can get them to add the device to your account. They have an affinity to hear BlackBerry and then just say it won't work. Metro PCS is nothing but a T-Mobile re-brand now working on a GSM network, KEYone will work as per normal.
I tried with resistance. They turned their screen to me and said "see, we don't have Blackberry as a choice"s. Even though the Blackberry is a certified Android device, they wouldn't even give it a try. They were quick to want to sell me the nano SIM until I pulled out my Blackberry
Get a nano Sim online and try and set it up thru the cpu if it gives you errors call them and speak to a rep give them the imei number and Sim card number and tel them it's just some android device. I've activated 2 in the last couple of weeks. The guys at the store charge you extra for everything
