My understanding is that the Rogers device is WiFi calling capable. I called Rogers and had them enable it but the settings for it are not showing up on the device after a reboot. Is there a special screen I need to get into?

If you don't see that, then it's not enabled properly for you.

Thank you. The setting wasn't there before having it enabled by Rogers. I assume it shows up after the carrier enables it. Is this correct?

Yep. But I'll you right now, it might not be as easy as calling customer care and having them enable it for you. Rogers needs to support the KEYone system wide, and no customer care rep can enable that. It seems as though they haven't fully done that as of yet.

Ah I see. OK I'll call tech support and see if they have any insight when that might happen. Thanks again.

You were right - Rogers hasn't supported it yet per their IT.

I called Rogers about this and they said it's no supported yet. Too bad as the phone reception was so bad this may have saved me returning it

I contacted BlackBerry Mobile support and asked about WiFi Calling and this was their response:

"We thank you for communicating with our BlackBerry® Mobile Care and for your interest in our products.*

We have not announced availability for WiFi Calling at this time, and cannot confirm this feature. Updates will be released when available on our website.*

Thank you for choosing BlackBerry Mobile as your daily communication device.*

    Best Regards,

    BlackBerry® Mobile Care"

Hope that helps as I'm with Rogers as well and had asked them the same questions."

Agreed! Not all devices eventhough new, RW may not have that feature provisioned yet or enabled on the K1!

    Not yet.

It does look like we're supposed to get a bug fix update on July 17th; maybe they'll give us WiFi calling then?

I really hope this enabled ASAP, had this phone since launch and love everything about it but the cell reception, especially in my area, calls always drop, incoming calls ring once and then stop, outgoing calls ring once and stop forcing me to call multiple times. It's embarrassing when I work from home and have to call clients.
