I use it all the time on my DTEK60, so I assume the KeyOne will have the same capabilities. It's an Android, not a BlackBerry OS.

This is a deal breaker for me, as I do rely on EE Wifi Calling. The Priv had this feature so surprised if this does not have it. Also the phones do not need to be EE approved to have WiFi calling as this feature is now available on unlocked phones e.g. HTC 10, G S7/S8.

Have you tried going in to Phone > Settings > WiFi Calling ??

i am on EE as well, I'm afraid there no VoLTE and VoWifi with KeyOne on EE

This is because EE did stock Priv and Dtek 50 & Dtek 60 (on Business), but they never confirmed they will stock KeyOne

Nope. Put my SIM in and it was just there.

The ting dashboard still says I have an unlocked S7 (not the t-mobile I model) which is why I needed the patched app. Hopefully the keyone imei will trickle into the system eventually and light up WiFi calling so I don't have to mess around with patched anything.

So, I was going to email ting a random imei from a priv off ebay, as I've seen providers do this before to trick their system into provisioning services to newer devices, but I found another way.

Even though I'm not provisioned for wifi calling, you can force the setting IF you can get to the setting another way. (Setting is hidden by not provisioned setting from carrier)

Lighter screenshot is hidden settings app showing what is provisioned. Unfortunatly toggling the wifi calling does nothing here, it appears to push down from carrier.

Download quick shortcut maker and find the phone WFC settings location as seen in the darker screenshot. Make the shortcut, now you can enable wifi calling, without being provisioned for it.

Enable wifi calling on ting or t-mobile, enjoy.

I tested in airplane mode a SMS message.

Just tested this on Rogers and the options in Wi-Fi Calling are greyed out. There must be some provisioning done on the carrier's side I guess.

Rogers Wireless removed WiFi calling years ago, maybe around the time of the BlackBerry Bold 9780. It has been years.

Im now with o2, it's not built in WiFi calling, but being with this network I get 'free' access to their TU app which does have WiFi calling along with other offline services

What? Lol of course they have wifi calling, I have it on my S7 Edge, it's on most Samsungs and iPhones.

They have VoLTE as well.

I didn't bother getting that toggle to stick, but you don't need it. Instead, setup the shortcut that takes you to the wifi calling settings themselves. The settings are hidden, but they do stick if you can get to the menu. It works 100% of the time, haven't needed to disable it yet.

when I go to the wifi settings screen, the toggle to switch wifi calling on is disabled and doesn't let me change it.

Sounds like ATT might be a little stricter than t-mobile. Go to a store, find an employee who has worked at least 3 years, and have them spoof a priv IMEI on your account.

I think that's your next best move.
