My DTEK50 shows that I have 100 apps installed and it continues to run well. I have cleared my cache exactly once after hearing it was a good idea, but didn't notice anything different.
I'm curious about something. Out of your 100 installed apps, how many of them do you use on a daily/weekly/monthly basis?

True story. After switching from bb10 I could not believe how outdated everything on that OS was.
Do you know what "outdated " really is ? That you still have to use 3 different kind of buttons to navigate through your OS.

Lol and BB10 is so "advanced" that only 0.01% prefer to use it.

Lol and what does it mean ? You have to separate some things in your mind. Almost Everybody likes pop music , but this doesn't make pop more advanced than classic music..

So anyone who listens to classical music is more advanced?

That's the total of all the apps on my phone, but of the 60 or so apps I installed, I only use about 10 regularly.

The rest are in the "there's an app for that category" and get used only occasionally, some more than others, some rarely but are useful to have when they are needed.

Autoloaders for BlackBerry Android and BB10 are the same size.

Nor does Android slow down over time if one simply manages the app cache - one button to press once a week or so.

You may have a preference, and there is nothing wrong with that, but your facts are incorrect.
    Agreed!

Bb10 is dying, because most of you talk about it like that. Then there's no investment. And some of you not even try it, it is very simple - the confusion arround working Mode of on android never end, and the bb10 keeps doing it Direct and simple. If you have another runtime on bb10 and put a 4-6gb RAM, we could see the diference. You can talk about the dtek and the keyone(and I have one) and there's Nothing to compare. I prefer driving my 10 year old mercedes than a 1 year old Fiat - it's such a diference

    Really?.
I find almost everything better on BB10 than on Android. Android is almost the same internally since the very begining. Layer after Layer of crap. That's why Google is planning to kill it in the near future.
BB10 was too late too few, but is a better OS than Android.

Bb10 superior UI. I would happily stay with bb10 without the apps, in fact I do just that with passport SE

they have discussed this before. the cost to get BB10 on one of these devices would be cost prohibitive even before they canned the os. you don't just load up a device you have to get every part certified basically.
