    Hi. Since the oreo update this app is killing my battery. Can anyone tell me what does it do and how to disable it or fix it? Thanks.

    It links everything Google on your device and makes keeping updated a little easier. it can't be disabled. Clear its cache and reboot. Settings -> Applications -> Google Play Services

    Tanks. I did what you suggested. Battery life is a bit better, but this app is still one of the top users of the my battery. I'm currently at 52% and the Google Play Services has used 10% of that. Is this normal??

    From where you see it in Battery usage, check and see if its allowed Background activity and shut it off if it is.
