I am using 23GB of 64 available on my Huawei Mate 8. How will things work out on a KeyOne with 32GB only?
Perhaps I better wait awhile to see if there will be a real flagship version of the K1 (K1+: 4GB/64GB).

Wholy crap. You must have a ton of apps on your phone . 32 gig will be plenty for me . Plus my 32 gig card
K1+:4GB/64GB sounds perfect and I think this would have been perfect specs for the K1 (everything else the same). However, don't forget there is space for a MicroSD. I think 128GB cards are available. With SDXC theoretically being able to support 2TB cards, so sometime in the future you may be able to pop one of those in your K1!!
I would not bother waiting for a K1+ to appear. First off it may never happen, just get the K1 and enjoy it. Second, it would cost more than the already pricey K1!
Yes a 64GB would have been better but 32GB is adequate.
I have my 64GB Micro-SD card so I can move it in through devices with ease.
For myself, the 32 gig is fine and both my iPhone 7 and my Priv are 32 gig models and even with all my apps, I have plenty of space left. The SD card slot should solve any issues for folks who need more space.
The best thing is that it supports an SD Card upto 2TB (256 GB for now). With Android you can even use your SD card as part of internal memory so you don't really have to wait to get the KeyOne!
Why don't you just expand it with an SD card then. You do know that the KEYone takes any size card don't you.

Just another complaint / hate thread.. In the OP it's says it might be best to await a 'real' flagship and also mentions RAM.......
But yeah, an SD card will solve the 32GB storage issue if someone needs more.. :)
Can anyone confirm 100% that you can in fact install apps on the SD Card on android 7.1? The way you guys talk in these forums to each other doesn't really help new comers to get concrete information they are looking for.
My goodness ppl love complaining. I'm starting to think these ppl get paid to whine like this.
Get and SD card n move on with your life.
Yep, may be best to wait for a true 2017 flagship.
Most 2017 Flagships are coming with Snapdragon 821 or 835 with 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal memory and most of them are near stock Android to.
Hopefully TCL & BB are preparing a proper flagship.
Lollipop allowed for saving Apps onto your SD card. That poses a security issue so now you cant do that when your card is set up as portable storage (meaning can move back and forth to other devices). However, you can set up your card as adoptable storage now meaning it essentially becomes your internal memory and that will allow you to save Apps.
"Most" are near stock android? Not true. There certainly is more phones going that route but i wouldn't say most.
Thank you Ray!! I'm getting a 128gb card now
Make sure you get a good card with decent read write speeds to avoid any lag when making it adoptable storage.
Any recommendations? Samsung? SanDisk? Which one works best for you?
Ditto. Post up a link to a good memory card. That way, I can order one now for my KEYone to have it ready.
Sandisk seems to have a better reputation amongst the data recovery crowd. I've used Lexar and ADATA, both went poof in my Priv.
As for OP's question, been without issues with the 32GB in my Priv, I just use an SD card to store media, and reserve primary storage for apps.
My recommendation would be sandisk also. Stay away from Lexar. I have had 2 of them crap out.
That's what the SD card slot is for. Or the cloud for that matter.
But, but, no Google Cloud! Google is evil! lol
Do you have a link to a memory card that you recommend???

Expired but these things seem to come and go.
In short : sandisk all the way.
