I think I'm going to go naked with the ring. I am currently using the dual-layer case with my ring, but I still have issues with the volume down key so I may return it.

No case for me, I'll risk it. The phone is already big enough as it is without adding further bulk.

Never bought cases for any of my phones (Samsungs, iPhones or BBs).
For me the design is a key element in phones, I don't want to hide it, especially for beautiful phones like iPhones, KEYone, Passport or Samsung S7/S8.
Its like buying a nice car and driving with the all season cover on it.

Over the last few years BlackBerrys have tended to have a surface finish that is grippy, so I generally use them without a case/skin. Except when I go skiing/canoeing/biking or out in the mountains when I stick some kind of case on them for the duration of the trip.

Would be nice to see a drop test so as to evaluate the need for a case, but I suppose availability is so limited that it hasn't made its way into the hands of those who usually do such tests.

I'm waiting for bb's smart flip case.
For the moment i use an AVIDET leather wallet flip case.
Can't imagine going out with my phose without such a protection considering the price of this jewel.
    At home, i remove it.

I have a Noreve half-case on order. It was supposed to arrive this week. I like the naked look but I think some protection is warranted.

I don't have the KEYone yet, but I rarely use a case. I do like the flip-case style, though.

I always tend to re-sell my devices as I a quire new ones, so cosmetics is a huge issue. Wear and tear lowers the value as mobile handset buyers are really finicky. When I sold my Pixel xl 128gb I had to reduce the price by 100$ due to a 4mm scratch near the USB C charger port!

I am using a holster. Never used a case in my life
I use a clear TPU case and a side belt holster. Ordered a super nice leather side holster from PDAIR but haven't heard anything about shipping yet?

Nope. I did no case on my iPhone 6 for 1.5 years and there is definitely wear and tear. I take good care, but the corners (not touchscreen part) are all cracked. That's precisely what the simple light cases are for, so I tested it and learned I need a simple little case. Im using the basic Incipio dual layer on K1.

PS on the contrary, screen protectors are not necessary at all. The screens on phones are quite durable and with normal use, they only get hairline scratches.

No case. I love the feel and look of all of my BlackBerry's, so I rock em' with no case at all. This phone, with its slim width doesn't even need the Spigen ring. I had it on for the first day and just removed it. The decision to make the width of the phone slimmer was a master stroke. It fits in my hand perfectly, making one-handed typing effortless.

I used to use case for every phone I own including Passport. But now I decide to keep my adorable KEYone naked. KEYone is particularly beautiful without a case.
