Some people, like me, prefer a vivid, bright screen. On the other hand, setting screen brightness at a low level can save you a lot of battery.
In my opinion, keyone's screen doesn't perform very well at its lowest brightness. The color is inaccurate and it has some kind of greenish feeling.
    What's your preference?

what's the deal with adaptive brightness? Does it cause troubles? Does it use more resources? Is it effective at doing anything? I don't see what it does...

Well, on keyone, if you manually adjusted your screen brightness, the adaptive bright will see it as the maximum brightness and adjust the screen brightness in that range. My ex phone G5 if you turn on the adaptive brightness then the phone will decide the brightness for you.

It isn't a brightness issue, the screen can be set to very bright. It's a contrast issue. Comparing it to my classic, the colours have a more darker contrast. I'm guessing it was done to save battery maybe?
