I've never been happy with the cell signal reception of my Keyone, other than that it's a good phone. I'm considering trying something else but need to sell my like new Keyone first. What is a reasonable price to get for it?

Varies a lot. Try checking eBay to see what the KEYone is averaging now.

ouch, it looks like maybe I will be rethinking my plan for a new phone. less than half of what I paid is less than I want to sell it for.

Use Kijiji or Craigslist to see what they are selling in your area. if they are selling say for $150, then that's what you can expect to receive.

They are still 4-500 on eBay. At least the Verizon ones are

I just checked in my area anywhere from $150 to $450 on Kijiji, $450 is on the high end for a used phone in my opinion. I think they are waiting for someone stupid to come along and pay.

It also had specs that were over a year outdated at launch (especially the processor). The market price is merely aligning with what it should be costing based on it's specs and not the inflated launch price.

If KEYone was a slab, then maybe it'd be worth that low

Just because someone is asking $500, doesn't mean they'll get it. Brand new Amazon has the Keyone for $380 - least week the CDMA KEYone was $300 on Best Buy.

$150 - $200 is probable a fair price for a used one. Besides right now probable a number of KEY2 users looking to unload a KEYone in the hopes of financing an upgrade to a KEY2. High Supply, low demand equal a buyers market.

My earlier suggestion for eBay. Put my BBB100-3 PRD-63118-001 (Verizon) unlocked there and sold at $330.00 USD + 5.00 shipping. Less than I paid, but as we all know, used goes for less.

Have also remember that the BlackBerry market has a much smaller fan base. Throw in a keyboard that will shrink it further. Most telco's offer free phones or discounted rates on new phones when you sign up for a plan.

A K1 in excellent condition can still fetch $300 Canadian. eBay supports that price point on pristine used units. By the way, selling mine for $300 CDN + bonus OEM BlackBerry Flip Case.

Obviously, the first year is when the phone loses the most value. After that, I can't see KEYones going much lower than the 150 mark

I'm going to be selling my KEYone Black Edition for about $300. I'll switch back to my Motion and take the money to put aside for the Key3 for next year
