This is similar to what I came up with. EXPRESS, because Steve Cistulli of CTL in one of his tweets mentioned the new phone as being "imPRESSive. But I like Dragnet Sound's idea, XPRESS even better. Either way the word has great double meaning. Express as in Quick, and communicate as in give expression.
    My other idea is: Phoenix.

I think it might be called DTEK 70...

if I go by the logic of DTEK naming what I can come up with is DTEK 55 or something since it's better than 50 and lousier than 60 specswise.

If not, I personally like to call it
    Blackberry Shield
    Blackberry Tact (Tactile)
Blackberry Stroke (Keystroke, but sounds kinda kinky LOL)
Blackberry Rise (Rise of the BB brand)

Coming from somebody who has a Marketing degree, I think because everyone who knows of this phone already knows it as the "Mercury," I think the smartest move is to officially call it the Blackberry Mercury just so they don't confuse potential buyers.

There are 4 steps to a successful product:

    (1) Awareness - As stated above, they've done well to drum up interest in the public eye and the public already knows it as the Mercury. Calling it something else will only confuse people, so call it the Mercury.

    (2) Value - People need to see value in the product and "in their minds" it needs to seem worth it to buy.

    (3) Availability - It needs to be easily available for them to purchase

    (4) After Purchase Customer Service - after going through the forums, I think A LOT of problems a lot of people are having when switching to Android from BB10 are a result of not being familiar enough with android (ie things not updating or working temperamentally =could be an issue with androids app-power saving feature restricting background use, or some other cause that can be fixed with some troubleshooting)

You actually posted first. I thought of it but didn't post it. I have a Priv which I love, so I am trying to figure out how to justify getting one of these too. LOL. I do have an extra number I can use which is currently on a back up hand me down phone.
