Looking at how beautiful the Z10 icons were, i really feel we need some Blackberry love on this device.

I have tried the blackberry 10 icon pack and the dev has done a great job, but i feel we need something new and uniquely bb for this device.

Would be nice if Crackberry Kevin could reach out to BB to get this done. Blackberry owe it to the BB faithful who continue to support them.

One can argue that BlackBerry "owes" loyal customers certain things, but I can be reasonably sure that yet-another icon pack isn't one of them.

They're extracted from BB10, that's probably it.

Yeah, it's called material design - can't wait until this design fad is over and we get back to "real" artistic work and the kiddies stop making icons. Only my opinion !

But it's not just icons... contacts etc where there's a goofy colored circle with the name abbreviation. Different color for everything. Wow I just can't love the visual candy overload.

They have allowed for icons to be changed in the launcher so I'm hoping it's something they are considering. If not they really have missed a trick here.

The current nougat icons just look cheap.

I for one like the minimal approach.

I'm using the Velur icon pack and I think it complements my device well.

BlackBerry Contacts has very similar features to BlackBerry 10 contacts but the look is all android. Same with the other BlackBerry apps like calendar.
Nothing is identical actually except the icon on the back of the phone, which by the way looks really nice in matte silver.

what I'm really looking for is something that has a sober , professional feel about it. I feel only bb themselves can provide this.

It would require one of two things:

1. A designer to recreate the BB10 icons at a high resolution
2. BlackBerry to do that as part of a BB10 update
