    Is there a way to control which volume the buttons control. Currently from the home screen when I use vol up or down it controls the volume for the phone. I would like it to control notification vol by default.

    I would like to re-order these if possible so notifications is default

    Unfortunately they don't have a way around this, agreed, it would be nice.

    That's a good point! On Android 7 I was able to use the volume buttons to quickly adjust the volume to the environment, both ring tone and notifications.
    Now on Android 8.1 the volume buttons only set the volume for the ring tone. If I want to adjust the volume of the notifications it takes a few steps. That's really bothering me.
