anyone ?
mine is also weaker than the classic.
It is not very strong, just is what it is.
keyone is actually the weakest on any phone that i have ever owned.. ever. i seriously cant hear it, and its sitting right next to me on the desk. with other phones, if i cant hear it, i can actually feel it a little bit on my forearms (resting on the mouse). with the keyone i cant hear it or feel it..
and it only buzzes twice. anyway we can have it buzz like 5-6 times ?
I wish I had an answer - have looked all over the setting to find how to customise the notifications. I used to have my Z30 set up with a different number of vibrations for different items. Now I miss everything unless the sound is on because the vibration is so weak....
Use light manager or lightflow
Yup. Its weak. But into the week mine has started to rattle the phone. Sort of like plastic rattling in an older car.
I was trying a bunch of apps yesterday to help with this too. I settled on Good Vibrations for now at least. It lets you customize the length and # of vibrates for each app. Seems to help a little but still sucks lol. I loved the vibration on my OG Passport, but even Passport SE was considerably weaker.
Nvm, found the answer to my question.
The vibrate on mine is alright, but definitely not as strong as on my Classic, or as nice as the iPhone 7Plus I have.
what do you mean ? it gets better over time ?
I didn't notice this. I suppose I usually have my phone on loud enough to hear all notifications or on silent when I don't want any. Interesting.
Try an app called "buzz buddy" you can set vibrations to almost any length and pattern you want. Doesn't change the fact that the vibrating motor in the newest BlackBerry is weak but at least you won't miss notifications.
The challenge with vibration strength is finding a balance between alerting the user and not creating an annoying distraction to others. I don't find this an issue.
