VERIZON - Travel Pack to Canada not provisioned!
I have the unlimited VERIZON plan and was told I could travel to Canada without any additional talk, text and data fees because these are included in the unlimited plan.
2 hours after crossing border I've already accumulated $50 of data charges.
I called VERIZON and they said that the CDMA Keyone is not provisioned for VERIZON, therefore they cannot add the "travel pack" feature which would allow me to use the phone in CANADA without any additional charges.
I asked them if they were willing to allow me to use my phone for the next 2 weeks and waive the international charges I accumulate but they refused, telling me that they could waive the fees I accumulated up to this point, but going forward I would be responsible for the international fees.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Is this an issue on the manufacturers side or VERIZON?
