Just ordered me another one.
Just to be clear - the CDMA KeyOne works on Verizon for the most part. But it is NOT a Verizon phone. Therefore, there may be some issues using it for Wifi calling, using the Travel Pass (Verizon claims it is not a "world' phone at this time) and other features.
Also, for whatever reason, at this time, the cdma version is still on the April (initial release) OS and security update. Maybe this new stock will have a newer OS???
But it is a brilliant device and has a feature no other phone has or rarely has - a physical keyboard and great battery life.
Not true about it not being 100% compatible on the Verizon network. It starts with an IMEI of 9900 and therefore Verizon considers it fully certified and will offer all advanced services including global roaming (travelpass), HD voice, Wifi TXT, hotspot and unlimited plan.
I previously owned a CDMA phone that was not verizon certified, didn't start with IMEI 9900 and VZ would not enable any of the items above (and they explained if it starts with 9900 then it's 100% compatible and embraced)
With that said, I have a K1 "Verizon" model and it works perfectly, including global roaming (which I have used several times in other countries). The only items is WiFi calling which I cannot get to work, but haven't tried very hard either.
I will admit that I don't know the in's and out's of compatibility. Folks have reported that Verizon is treating the cdma KeyOne as some kind of "alien life form" and limits access to some of their features. So as a practical matter there might be limitations even if there should not be any.
Again, going by reports of what folks have encountered from Verizon. I hope your comments prove to be right and Verizon just accepts the device.
Others have said you need to get higher level tech support to provision the phone correctly which has improved reception. Also, VVM is supposed to be set to basic. I believe someone even got wifi calling to work.

wifi calling does not work on Verizon and no known work around. That's the only reason mine is sitting in my drawer and I went back to my Pixel. that and the laggy software that still sits at April. I believe if it had newer updated software it may be a little less laggy.
I called advanced support and the phone is not coded as a global phone but he put the request in today. No idea why not as I could not add travel pass. Also they were unable to install a NFC SIM card without using another device and then inserting it in the K1. So on verizon it shows as a Google pixel. Previously I was using a NON NFC card and it showed BBB100-3 on the site, but travel pass and other features did not work
