The keyboard is great for creating emails, but how to you get it to work for all input.

For example when entering search input on Chrome or Goggle.

It only seems to work for email creation.

Don't think you can, some apps have their own (or call up the system keyboard).

There are solutions out there, but most call for Root access that I know of.

You need to tap the text entry field with your finger first, then enter the text. it's not automatic.
