Exactly. So why was my last update on a K1 in 2019 and someone who bought it for a non BlackBerry phone had a recent update?
Above my pay grade, as you know.... I’d aim that question @conite before he drinks a six pack of Corona .... too soon?!?

There is no difference. The latest version is available for all.

Again, what version numbers do each of the Hub Suite apps say they are?

    Just those would be enough.

Yep, that's what is currently available in the Play Store from Nov/Dec.

I want @SteinwayTransitCorp to tell us the versions that are supposedly newer because they are "paid for".

It's all the same... I'm not sure where he came up with they update the apps differently.

    Subscription (paid)
    Ad Supported
    Device Installed (BBMo)

All get the same updates.... Only delay might be in those using BlackBerry Manager (free), but in the past Cobalt's been on top of those updates.

Now it's possible some individuals didn't get the updates in Nov/Dec.... and their phone figured out months later there was an update. Weird stuff happens...

To enable Developer Options, open the Settings screen, scroll down to the bottom, and tap About phone or About tablet. Scroll down to the bottom of the About screen and find the Build number. Tap the Build number field seven times to enable Developer Options

Then you have lots of things you can try (carefully) bui background services shown here...

Well, that's not the same thing as preventing an app from starting on boot.

    That's just a process manager.

Each app has advanced settings and the boot setting is viewable... if it is an app you do not wish to use, disable it and it will not start unless you re-enable it

I'm not talking about apps I don't want. I'm talking about having an app launch only when I want to use it - not simply on boot.

Or he had a glitch and didn't get the update till later...

Till they officially EOL them... there is hope we will see something newer than four months ago.

My guess is anyone with developer skills is working on something to do with Cylance right now.... as that is the company's best hope for the future. Once things settle down, maybe the revenue is enough to justify updating these legacy apps.
