how am I still waiting for December update on a supposedly unlocked phone (replacement for screen lift)? Is there a way to check if it is truly factory unlocked? if actually unlocked, why am I two updates behind in Canada (Rogers) network?

This is why I want a Keyone black that is not associated with a carrier? How do you get this animal in the US??? The ones I see seem to be AT&T connected which means lots of bloatware like on my priv and waiting on them for updates...

The Space Black is AT&T exclusive in the USA. It's only 3/32 any way. Can you buy the black from Canada maybe?

Yep, locked to Rogers and still on November 2017. This is the first time we have been TWO months behind. The worst part is that the Meltdown and Spectre issues are "mitigated" in the January update. So any KEYone that is pre-January is not secure. Not impressed.

Same with AT&T though we know the carriers stand in the way. I'm OK with trade-off.

Try NeverMSRP on ebay ... that's where I got mine, works like a charm on At&t if you're willing to forego WiFi calling.
