    i just received this update this morning with my Sprint device.

    Shows SW BBB100-3V03
    Android 7.1.1
    Android Security Patch Level August 5th, 2017

    That would be disappointing as I did not have that issue with apps trying to reinstall. I had grand visions of the updated launcher with BB icons, along with the continued performance improvements....

    I did have one app re-install, but I can't remember what it was. Anyway, that doesn't mean it would be the only thing included. I am probably wrong, but weren't most of the updates posted this month still on the July security patches? Edit: yeah it seems the recent ones were indeed the August security patches. I stopped following after the initial ones were just the July patches.

    No issue with notifications before this update or after. I only received my device three weeks ago though.

    Although I'm still waiting for this blackberry launcher update with the new icon packs. Apparently it's an ordinary app update that I have yet to receive?

    According to Sprint and Blackberry there is an update coming next week that will fix a lot of issues with this device. I truly hope Sprint gets their act together by fixing the glitches, adding wifi calling and calling plus. Happy to report my data issues have been resolve, i can finally use the lte.

    what is your source on that? next week is technically september so it could just be coming with the september update. but then again, thats what we were saying in july about the august update.

    I received a call from a tech support manager at Sprint to inform me the update will be available on the 30th of this month and they will call me after the update is release to make sure all my issues have been resolve. I have be talking talking to the Sprint executive office. I spoke to blackberry support yesterday was told they receive notification that sprint will be releasing an update on the 30th of this month (Blackberry Support: 855-223-4034 )
