    Thanks for the post, OP.

    Does anyone know - was the announcement that you'll be able to order the phone on 5/31 and it will ship immediately, or a few days later? It'd be nice if the opened up pre-orders the same time as they'll be in Canada (forget exact date - 17th?).

    CBK seemed to respond to my questions on another thread saying I could buy from Rogers. I would assume that means that as of this week he has no info on direct sales or he can't share what he knows.

    I spoke with Kevin tonight at the Vancouver meetup. He said he always gets his phones through Rogers, but otherwise didn't have any updated information to offer.

    Rogers usually will sell no contract phones at full price.

    At 1:10:25 Daniel discusses the price and availability and he says "We know that this is coming out on May 31st ... and unlocked on BlackBerryMobile.com".

    Not exactly a confirmation from TCL but at least it's encouraging.

    Thats not always true. Some dealers whill coerce you rather into upgrading or activiting a new line. I discovered this when the PRIV came out. Some dealer refused to sell at full off contract pricing. Yet some dealers will sell off contract. This is one little cuffufle that I scratch my head over.!?

    Judging by previous Digital River experiences I will probably get my device mid June, or I might get lucky and get it June 1. They are really hit or miss, they seem to process orders at random and when they have less supply than orders it means that sometimes people who order after you get their phones first.

    Why are you bringing Digital River into this since they handled BlackBerry? This is TCL/Blackberry Mobile, obviously, a totally different company, right?
