Honestly there is a chance that you might not even need to unlock it to use on fido.

In my experience, Fido sims have always worked on Rogers phones and vice versa

I helped buy a Rogers branded iPhone 5 for use on Fido from a Rogers/Fido store. The guy just put a Fido SIM in it and set it up for us.

No reason it shouldn't work the same with the KEYone.

We usually do this when phones are new so we can use it on the site as a tutorial for other customers.


Also guys keep in mind if you do buy the keyone outright from the network they can unlock it for you, usually they charge quite a bit at $50 but sometimes if you request the unlock code and say you need it because you are travelling they give it to you for free.

Just as an fyi... I didn't need to unlock my bell KeyOne to use my Virgin sim... they did the typical store setup. I got to the car and switched Sims and I have full lte on virgin no issues

This is true Bell and Virgin run off the same network and phones from bell and virgin do work with eachother, even iphones, samsungs, etc.

Also Rogers/Fido phones usually work with eachother as well

and same with Rogers/Chatr
