I've been unable to receive any SMS for the past 4 days and I just realized it.

I have the BBB100-2 KeyOne on the July Security update. I tried restarting the phone, installing Textra instead of Android Messages but no luck.

Sending messages is working as I confirmed with a friend after sending him an SMS but I cannot receive anything.

So I did a factory reset, messaging started working again, after installing all my apps again, I cannot receive SMS anymore and thus cannot even get past activating Viber, Whatsapp, Instagram, etc since I am not receiving any SMS.

My apps are:

Whatsapp
Google Duo
Skype
BBM
Metal Pro
Instagram
Fenix
ES File Explorer Pro
Aviary
Retouch
Play Music
YouTube
Shazam
SoundHound
gReader Pro
Google Maps
Waze
Nest
PayPal
YouTube
ScanBot
Canon Print Services

I did and I received the SMS immediately

I also noticed next to the 4G+ icon on the top, it says ALT

what the heck is that?

ok now I got all the messages in one shot, like they were being qued or something

Maybe it was a network issue

Strange, I can receive SMS from my other number but when I am not getting any SMS from my bank or any other company number

I have the same problem now here in Qatar.... I can receive international calls but cannot get SMS nor can I activate Whatsapp or Viber.......have done a fac reset, plus cache clear and all other options....out of ideas...... anyone have any suggestions?
