Ah ok, what is the rough date of the screen issue devices? Problem is that if I order online I wont know the date until it turns up, but at least I can kick off if it is old stock.
Its hit and miss, but I'd feel more comfortable with a date in july, than june, but who knows.
The date is packaging materials date. Nothing is confirmed from what date exactly so called "new" production. TLC I would never say this either. @Heavens1 what date in Aussie do you have in your KEYone?

Rico, I won't be buying my KEYone (from selfridges) till I'm reasonably sure they're the corrected batches.
Our aus KEYone went on sale here a few days prior to bbmobile's tweet and post here on crackberry acknowledging the screen fall off issue, so we here in aus don't know whether our batch is good or bad.
The KEYone being sold here is version 1, CA/US version, and doesn't have a date.
To reply to the OP, I probably would test the screen right after opening the box with some suction thingy like a satnav holder (windscreen) to see if it comes off easily.
Obviously I wouldn't use lots of force but gently.
some said to look for the PRD date, some look at the "Date" date.. which is which? If we look at the PRD, which is 63117, could be translated to 31 June 2017.. while the "Date" is 11/06/17... lol
