So I noticed developer mode gives you the option to turn off certain services, like BBM for instance which I never use. But i'm new to Android and i've read that Andriod does a great job of managing ram/resources and is best left alone, it doesn't need your help...lol.

So my question is, will there be a performance boost to turning off services that I will never use? DO you guys do this? or is it better to just leave it alone?

Depends on what it is really but it's largely negligble if you're never using said services to begin with.
