So I've had my KEYone for a week and a half now and coming from BB10 I was wondering what my experience with Android was going to be. Well the next paragraph will sum it up.

I picked up my Passport this afternoon and used it and it didn't feel right.

That hasn't quite been my experience. Don't get me wrong, I've been a converted BB Android diehard since the PRIV, but every time I pick one my BB10 devices, it's a bittersweet experience.

On the sweet side, my ability to be productive with communications (primarily work emails, attachment management, texts) is unparalleled with BB10. However, on the bitter side, barely any of my apks work anymore and my work doesn't support BES or BB10 devices anymore so that eliminates an entire fleet of my devices from daily driver status.

I love my KEYone but my ultimate a-guy-can-dream device is the Passport SE with an updated ART that supports full Google services. Drool...

But we know that can't happen. Nice dream!

Yes, open up the zipper in the time/space continuum and start throwing out all the androids and iPhone's.

Same here. I sometimes see my Passport and get all nostalgic. I switch the sim and start using it. A few minutes later, when android apps like instagram don't work I understand why I made the switch. I was one of those that condemned android but I must say, the Priv is an amazing device and then updates have made it better and closer to the BB10 experience.

Inspiring. Posting from my Passport right now. I currently can't imagine I will like the K1 better but I plan to give it a solid try.

Well, I am currently using my Q10 with the S8+, I know BlackBerry has made some tweaks here and there with regard to Android but I feel my experiences thus far would be fair.

Truth be told, over time the two OSs start to merge and you start realising that a great idea would be to take some of the BB10 features and some of Android and create a new OS.

I am at a point now where I can't pick one over the other. I suppose this is better for me since the Q10 is going for four years, I am pretty sure the next KEYone iteration would be a very, very good replacement for my long time favourite phone.
