I just bought a blackberry bold 9790 from Amazon. Only €37!!
My first thought was: "nice to have a second phone" .
However... How tinny and limited it is. Absolutely a pocket device. I will send it back an try a 9900 or classic.

Definitely the Keyone is the best Blackberry ever. Of course, many things to improve, but its form factor is closer to standard human dimensions. Good visibility on the screen , good balance between space for finger/proximity of keys.
What a productive device.

Any similar experience?

Eventhough if OP hasn't tried the KEYone, I would have to agree with them that it is the best BlackBerry to date in my experience.

I do have the K1. I just went to an old Bold since they were epic devices and I thought I could bring them to life as a second phone. But this is not just a matter of comparing, which is obviously not fair. 6 years of mobile innovation is a huge gap. I think that many people like me feel this kind of attraction for old Blackberrys. But having Bold again in my hands after a lot of time was a heartbroken moment. Most of models are beautiful pieces for tech, but hard to perform in 2017, even pushing to do so. This is why I said that now I know how good is the K1 (I got the first batch indeed).

The Classic seems alot more usable/futureproof going into 2018 than 9700, 9900 or any other BB7 device, but hey those definitely beat having a basic dumb K9 phone

I can't believe you actually spent money on a BB7 device. You are extremely optimistic. Glad to hear that you have a new KEYone though. At least you will be able to experience everything a modern smartphone has to offer.
