    Hey everyone!!!

I'm having a hard time deciding if I should go for the BlackBerry KeyOne.
At the moment I am using a S7 Edge and it's a great phone just the battery life lets it down.

    I use my phone for
    Facebook
    Amazon
    EBay
    WhatsApp
    YouTube - watching reviews
    Calls and Texts
    NFC Payments at

Would a KeyOne be an upgrade or downgrade from the S7 Edge?

Also what's the screen like compared to the S7 Edge?

Sorry to pester you guys with this just having a bit of a dilemma.
I have a KeyOne saved at my local CFW til end of week but I wanna try and decide quicker so if I decide against it then someone else could get

    Thanks

In terms of look and feel, the KEYone is a winner. Of course opinions are subjective here, to each their own.

If you really need a keyboard then the KEYone is the best device you can have right now. In terms of screen, the S7 features AMOLED while the KEYone uses IPS LCD. Again, to each their own here but the AMOLED features a much more vibrant and saturated look while the IPS LCD is more of a natural and flat look. So you decide. Just know that iPhones use IPS LCD displays and no one seems to be complaining with them!

I had the iPhone 6S Plus before and must admit the screen looked fine for me, is that the same one KeyOne uses?

    Coming from a S7 Edge,
    It is a downgrade ...
    Then go to a Mate9.
Also a powered phone with long battery life

I don't think it's as simple as upgrade or downgrade.

It all depend on your needs. The apps you mentioned would work fine in both devices. Your concern based on your comment is the battery, let me assure you its the best in business.
Not a single review denies that.

Now if you want a keyboard, then your choice is obvious but if PKB isn't your thing then you need not consider KeyOne.

You didn't mention Camera or other specific requirements, like performance etc. So yeah, from battery and PKB perspective, it's an upgrade, even over S8. Everything else is subjective.

BTW I have iPhone 7 Plus as my spare now.

Camera wise I'm not overly fussed as long as it takes decent snaps
What would the disadvantages be from going from S7E to K1?

    Disadvantages:
    Games
    App switching (to some extent)
Full screen estate (if it matters)
Samsung goodies (curve screen apps, VR, Samsung Pay)
    Camera (both front and rear)
    Fashion police
    Weight
    Size
    Screen
    Specs

    Advantages:
    Physical keyboard (if it matters)
    Battery
    Light weight / vanilla Android
    Android 7.1
    Fashion police (yes again)
    Build Quality
    Size

    Rest would be almost similar.

In my experience, I just got bored of same old slab expected. In the last few months I have owned, Pixel XL, iPhone 7 Plus, and LG V20. Also used S7Edge, S8+ and Huawei Mate 9.

I wanted try out something new. I love PKB and BlackBerry in general.

Hope that helps to justify the purchase
Not everything is perfect but it is a very good everyday device. My negative about the device is the RAM Management.

    That's just a joke. Lol

People just won't like what phone brand you have and make comments, hence fashion police.

I don't mind what other people think as long as I like the phone, what's the build quality like?

Best way is to hold it yourself. It feels really solid.
