Hey everyone,
I'm thinking that it's time for an upgrade. I had the z10 for few years now and I just saw the priv in the Verizon store along with the iPhone 6s. I'm debating between the two.

What kind of answers do you expect on a BlackBerry forum?
Besides the question if you could benefit from the physical keyboard, it mainly is a question of operating systems:

To me the Priv just looks like a clunky Android slab and of course I never wanted one however your choices on BlackBerry are Very limited and the future for handsets is looking gloomy .

I have the Priv and love it. It's everything I want from BlackBerry and Android merged into one phone.

The only thing I'd sell it for would be the rumored Vienna, as I'd prefer the Classic size and quality keyboard, but as of now nothing compares.

I really like the priv too. I was nervous to start, but blackberry really did a great job combining the blackberry essence with the flexibility with android. More work to be done, but looking forward to the ride. After all, I got my z10 back then 10.3 was a twinkle in their eye, and I enjoyed seeing the system grow over time. Looking forward to that same sensation here

The Priv is 100% Android + 75% BB(my rating)
Any other Android is 100% Android + 0% BB.
Apple is 100% Apple + 0% BB.

Even if you rate BB experience on Android to be 20%. It is still a win.

I forgot, without much work, Any Android is 100% Android + 15% BB already(if you install the BB VKB apk found easily on this site)

I have an iPhone 6, a Z5 Compact, and a Priv. I am still using the Priv, its the most engaging regardless of little bugs here and there. And nothing conpares to a sliding action pkb phone.

The Z5C is also pretty neat. But its microphone broke down after sitting in a small rain for about 5 min (so much for water proofing Sony...). I am sending it in for repair soon but otherwise its pretty nice too (and it eats Marshmallow!)

The iPhone 6? Sure is a nice, stable phone. But it also feels very boring when using it. It has been sitting in my drawer after 3 months of usage until recently i gave it away to a relative

I would say get the Priv if you get bored easily with new phones, because Priv is really quite different

Compared to what ? It's better than on screen keyboard. It's bigger than the Typo. It's comparable to the Bold and the 9800
