    Use code PRD-63117-019.
No. PRD-63117-003 is non-carrier, unlocked sold through shop CPW.
It is not tied to Vodafone who your contract is with.
Unless you arranged for the blackberry services they sell. Only the service would be tied for the contract of the services. The phone contract effectively remaining a separate issue.

We're talking about spoofing a different model of the BBB100-2 for the purposes of forcing an update.

Btw, it worked for the person I suggested it to. Read his next post (#9).

So based on info here, I gather its not that easy to just re-instal a different update?

OK Ive re-installed a previous system os on my device but theres a bit of info one must follow before installation. Like installing a correct downloader? Or installing the wrong file intended for a different PRL? And bricking the device if your installing on a phone without a full battery charge or isn't connected to power while installing.

These are just a few things Ive learnt in the past playing around with downloads and re-instals.
