    1. It seems pretty easy to do a battery replacement
    2. Did they skip the screen removal because the screen automatically removes itself?

This step by step guide is just great. Can't wait to set my screw driver on a KEYone now LOL.

BTW, if anyone remember the long-dirty-fingernail guy who disassembled the Passport and then the Classic, I believe he did it again with the KEYone about two weeks ago. Found this on a local forum which of course not in English. Only this time he wore gloves.

The company is at goldenace.vn which has been doing gold plating for all sort of phones, including Passport, Classic, Priv, P9983, and I believe they did a gold plated KEYone already though not available on their site.

I've been wondering why Blackberry and now Blackberry Mobile gave up with screwing the screen onto the frame as with the legacy Blackberry and with earlier BB10 model Z10, Q10 and Z30. Pic below is of a Bold 9900 screen on which the metal box protecting the LCD is shaped to provide holes for screwing it to the frame. The front digitizer (?) glass is glued tight to the LCD for the whole area instead of a tiny strip around the edge. This way, plus with hooks for interlocking, would make it really hard for Jerry to pop the screen.

"Apply heat to the top of the phone to remove the microphone plastic cover. There is a fair amount of adhesive holding this cover down."

    lol... the irony.

Instead of a heat gun, you just breathe on it like polishing glasses and the adhesive releases. No muss, no fuss. Oh, have scotch tape handy to fix the ribbon cable.
