I guess, but what would be an example of your use case? I mean, the keyboard already includes 52 shortcuts.

Remember we used to be able to press T in a browser to the top of the page, and B to the bottom? Things like that.

From those videos the 52 shortcuts seem to be limited to app launches, not for in-app hotkeys.

Things like T and B shortcuts in browser will be up to the developers to implement. Maybe a few will, but most won't bother for the small amount of KeyONE's out there. That's why BlackBerry needs to build more of their own apps, including browser. They seem to be slacking off on making android more like BB10. No, we dont want a doodle app, we want file manager and gestures.
