I enabled the 'type by swiping' and to my surprise it works on the physical keyboard but I couldn't get the hang of it. Maybe someone who is used to it on a VKP could better comment on how well it works.

This means each key has independent capacitive sensory so why not a 'tap to type' feature. I don't think I would like it for general use but it might work well typing in bed when you want to be more quiet.
