No nothing everything should work out of the box. That has been my exprience so far; I have wifi calling active as well as HD voice which i noticed last monday.

Make sure to check to see if WiFi calling is checked in the phone app.

It may be my cdma KeyOne. I have my Tmobile sim card in it and it works for calling and text and I added data for my vacation. But where does one find the Wifi calling setup or options? I don't see it under the Wifi settings?

you can find it under :

Setting -> More (Wireless & networks) -> Wi-Fi calling menu.

You can also do a search under settings for Wifi calling and should bring it up

I'm on T-Mo also and have no issues with VOLTE wi-fi calling, but have never had HD voice. Can you tell me where/how to configure this?

Call someone with a T-Mobile phone number, and an HD icon will appear on your screen during the call. It only works when I call another T-Mobile number, and I believe the Du cell network in United Arab Emirates. Or maybe Etisalat, but I remember being surprised because an Uber driver called to tell me he had arrived and all the in Dubai, my Classic (same sim now in my KEYone) showed that the call was on HD Voice.

There was an issue with VoLTE, they fixed it in the latest release. Not experiencing any problems currently specific to TMO.
And I truly enjoyed the WiFi calling: used it overseas to trick my dad into thinking I'm in US

Not sure if this is still an issue, but I've disabled VoLTE because it was the only way to fix an issue I was having. When I would call someone, and they didn't answer, instead of it going to voicemail, it would disconnect and give me an on-screen error.

@hoopitz you missed the post right above. That issue was fixed in the July update, I've been using VoLTE with no issues.
I also updated that thread.

The unlocked cdma BBB100-3 did not get the update, still on April. Problem still exists for some.

The first cdma KeyOne was intended to be compatible with Verizon which uses cdma. Sprint also is cdma but has its own model (which may be the same but is sold by sprint).

Yes. It works. The BBB100-3 has the GSM bands with added CDMA bands. If I decide to change providers I am not stuck between a choice of GSM only.

It is similar to other manufacturer's unlocked devices

The only problem I have is the VoLTE calling to another T-Mobile number. Everything else works. Including WiFi calling, I even tested the in-flight services - no problem.

Oh, sorry, I did not understand the context. My context is that I AM using the unlocked cdma KeyOne with a T-Mobile sim card. I believe that the other poster was also doing that.

Considering buying a Keyone and wanted to make sure of some info. Am I correct in saying that the BBB100-1(GSM) or the BBB100-3(GSM/CDMA) can both be used on tmobile?
